Comments are closed.
GIANT update 4/30: Robert Kaufman is giving away
a 1 yard SET of Tufted Tweets. After you leave a comment here for my giveaway, FLY over to their blog before 5/3 and leave a comment to register to win a full yard set!!!
UPDATE 4/28: Hello my tweets (sorry... I really can't control it). I am reading every single comment as they come in. I love your sense of humor and that some of you also have design crushes on chairs in your life too. Thanks for being a part of this release with me!
UPDATE 4/26: You guys are incredibly wonderful. I truly cannot believe how many entries there are! Thank you a million times over for all your kind words, your love of birds and chairs and for all of your support. Keep those entries coming and I'll draw the winner on Monday 5/3!
Robert Kaufman is going to start shipping Tufted Tweets in the next few weeks. So very, very soon you'll be able to go visit your favorite fabric store and get some Tweets for your stash. I personally can't wait to go visit a store a see the bolts on the shelf. It's still a pretty strong possibility that I will dork out and shed a few tears when that day finally arrives. It's been an amazing journey to get here and I am so happy to have been able to share it with you! :)
So... the FQs I'm giving away are some of the very first ones to make it out into the world. Fly and be free little tweets!!
For your chance to win, just leave me a comment and tell me:
- What you'd make using the fabric
- Or, tell me all about your favorite chair/couch/seating apparatus
- Or just say hello!
Just make sure that there's a way for me to contact you when you leave your comment.
Next Monday 5/3, I'll select 2 lucky winners at random and the fabric will soon be winging it's way to you (sorry...couldn't resist). Thanks to everyone for all of your words of encouragement and support. You have no idea how much all of your posts and notes mean to me. :)
After you leave your comment, you MUST go visit Ashley over at Film in the Fridge. She is unveiling the gorgeous quilt she made using Tufted Tweets. I think it is truly, truly gorgeous. I think all of Ashley's quilts are pretty amazing but this one is obviously pretty close to my heart.
AND how fabulous is this? Ashley's pattern for the Unfurnished quilt will be available as a free download from Robert Kaufman's site (and from mine and from Ashley's) in the next few weeks!
AND... a little birdie told me that Ashley has a few FQs of Tufted Tweets to giveaway in the next few weeks. So if you don't win my giveaway, stay tuned to find out when Ashley's giveaway will happen.
Good luck peeps (sorry... sometimes I just can't contain myself...)!

«Oldest ‹Older 601 – 762 of 762 Newer› Newest»i absolutely LOVE furniture...i have more chairs than a one bedroom apartment should ever have
my fav seating ever comes with a little bit of a story...i once had the ugliest couch ever made...it was cream with these gigantic avacado colored flowers...it had a scalloped back and curved shape...it was almost 8 feet long...i inherited it after a friend of my mom's had an estate sale and it didn't sell...it was literally the only thing left...but it was the absolutely the most comfortable thing i have ever sat on...everyone would cringe when they saw it...but it was always true love after they sat on it...sadly it died a few years ago and was unrepairable...i still miss it everytime i have people over and when i curl up to watch a movie...
and i'd make a wall hanging for my living room!! what better place for your fabric than where the most seating is in my house!!
Congrats - the fabrics are so gorgeous. I will be stalking the kaufman section at my fabric store waiting for them to arrive. My favorite piece of furniture was a petite round armchair made of bright orange wide wale corduroy. I wore it out, so I don't have it anymore and I am cruising thrift stores looking for its twin!
If that isn't the cutest fabric! My couches need a quilt and this would be swell. I love your new line and can't wait to see it in stores.
My favorite chair is one my grandma gave me. It was my favorite chair to sit in when I visited her. Short to the ground, wide arms and seat. Perfect for sitting sideways in it with my legs dangling over the side while I read a book.
I shelled out big bucks to have it (and the ottoman that came with it) reupholstered (sp?) while in graduate school. A sacrifice at the time that I do not regret. I chose this beautiful deep purple color. Every time I sit in it I think of my grandma.
sparklesax around or at gmail dot you know
Love the prints!!! I see them in some sort of library tote bag.
Wow! I just read your interview over at True Up and I love your whole story. I love the red and orchid colorways, and the quilt pattern is fantastic!
Well, I was driving home last month and a fabulous little retro slipper chair was out on the curb for the Spring Clean-up Pickup. So, I obliged and picked it up and now it's in my garage. I had originally thought about some Amy Butler, but oh, my, after seeing your Tufted Tweets--I'm going that direction.
So, yes. Tufted Tweets on my slipper chair, to go in my bedroom. I know I'll have to buy some more yardage to cover it, so the giveaway would make the quilt to adorn that chair.
But most of all--congrats!
P.S. Also looking forward to Urban Circus.

I am a purple person (and a Portlander) who would love to use these beautiful fabrics in a quilt or maybe even to make new throw pillows for my antique walnut daybed couch that is upholstered from a set of great vintage Fortuny curtains.
Holy cow! These prints are the greatest mix of pattern and detail. Those couches are killing me. I love my vintage sectional, with little golden glittery flecks, thrown into the chocolate base... mmm. Of course, with a fabric like this, it's painful to cut into, you sort of just want to frame it, right? But alas, I believe the perfect thing to do with fabrics you adore = handbag.
I love your fabric! I think that i would think of a whole bunch of things to make with the fabric and then i would look at it and love it too much to cut into it. (my sewing skills are not equal to these fabulous fabrics.)
You have inspired me to give fabric design a try! I would love to make some fun patchwork wrap skirts or even just a small lap quilt out of your very cool fabrics. They are just so wonderful to look at and dream about projects! Congrats on the new Robert Kaufman line! :)
vapor3547@yahoo.com
Love the patterns and the colorways!
I am absolutely in LOVE with that purple! Loved reading your interview on True Up, but actually first saw your work on Ashley's blog a while back and immediately fel in love with those elephants.
Wow, lots of comments! I love to do some cushions for my couch, I love that red colourway.
Hi Laurie, just read your True Up interview and decided to stop by. Glad I did! It's so cool to get some history on a designer's line and story. Makes seeing the collection in stores so much more fun! Congrats again and can't wait to make some cheeky pillows ;P
Laurie, I just read about you on True Up. Congratulations on the Robert Kaufman deal, I love his fabrics.
I like what you said in your True Up interview about coming back to Austin three times. I moved down here almost six years ago to go to school and haven't left!
Looking forward to following your blog :)
these are so very pretty, especially the purple ones and the big green sofa
I love your fabric and I would love to try making a quilt similar to Ashley's. I have yet to try a wonky quilt, but am very envious of the freedom of not following such a "structured" pattern.
I love this fabric. I am recovering a mid-century modern chair that I found dumped by the side of the road and I would make pillows to go on the chair.
I love chairs and fabrics, too! They seem to have such character. At one time in my crafty life, I made these adorable miniature upholstered chairs---even people who didn't have dollhouses loved them.
I love the fabric and really love the quilt on ashley's website.
She sent me here. I would love to make a quilt like hers
My name is Nadia and yes I am a fabric junkie...well that and sugar, but I digress. I love your great bold prints and colour and cant wait for the quilt pattern to become available! That is for sure the first project I would make...also I am probably going to stretch them over canvas to make some wall art for our fixed up basement living space.
keep up the amazing work !
These fabrics are just gorgeous! I recently moved into a new apartment with a vaulted ceiling and I'd love to use them to make something to hang there!!! I came over here from Film in the Fridge!
these fabrics would be great for a play mat for my 5 month old son! he would absolutely love the bright colors :)
I love the Orchid colorway and the Grass as well, will make a beautiful quilt!
The fabrics are really cute! And the quilts really show them off well! My favorite seating...well definitely oversized chairs or couches, you know with really deep /wide cushions so that you can curl up and get really comfy. I'm not one for ever sitting with my feet flat on the ground, unless absolutely necessary. Congratulations on the fabric line!! :)
strawberryshortcake5491[at]hotmail[dot]com
Wow!!! I just love, love your fabric. It is so fresh and inspiring. I can't wait to see it in person!
I really love everything about this line - the colors are amazing and the chairs and sofas are just plain fabulous. I will make some pillows for my sister's new place. She's getting married soon and they would give just that extra spark of color!
Would love to use them in a quilt. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway!
I have been admiring this fabric line for weeks!! My local quilting stores better carry it in stock!!!
You know I've been waiting to get my hands on some of this fabric ... it will definitely make some cute bags! And I'd like to use at least one of the pieces to make a tiny dress for my daughter's doll (she needs some new clothes!)
The fabric is gorgeous. I would definitely make a quilt with them. Congratulations and thanks for the giveaway.
Love the green, blue and purple colorways. I can't wait to see them in person!
I actually found you through Ashley's blog! I love love these fabrics. I'm collecting fabrics to make a patchwork slipcover for our boring moss-green sofa, and these would be perfect. Crossing my fingers....
I adore this fabric! It would make a lovely throw quilt in my living room (as soon as I'm off the fabric diet, I'll run and get some!).
Oh My Goodness! What a FANTASTIC giveaway! I LOVE this fabric! (I saw the quilts on Ashley's blog and LOVED them!!) I am fairly certain a quilt would be in the future for the fabrics if I won them!!)
I love the fabrics & would be thrilled to win!!
Thank-you for sharing!
Wow, what a generous giveaway! My laptop needs a sleeping bag---how lovely would that be in your fabrics! Fingers crossed ; )
stunning! stunning! Honestly, I'm presently in love with ottomen. For sitting upon, resting one's feet upon, piling with miscellaneous fabric and books...
congrats on the new release--so stunning!
ggross@optonline.net
Oh Wow! How generous!!
I would love to try my hand (& brain) at a Paintbox quilt [see www(dot)oh fransson (dot) com].
I'm loving the bright colors!
Thanks for this opportunity!!
lupansgirl(at)gmail(dot)com
=-)
I love the blue/green couch with bird. I need pillows for my couch and chairs out of all of this. its lovely. way to go!
FABULOUS! You are truly gifted and I look forward to seeing this fabric in person as well as more of your work :)
I'm thinking about a traditional pattern with this modern prints in a quilt for my bed.
Congratulations - what beautiful fabric! As a manic quilter I would definitely be looking to use this in quilting. Thanks for this generous opportunity and all the best :)
Wow! What gorgeous fabrics! How I would love to make a quilt with them!!!
I don't know what i'd do with it...add it to my collection:)!!??
Can't find my post....I love the fabric. You had too much fun designing it. I can see it in so many quilts and on furniture as well. Keep up the good work!
Great giveaway!
i would love to make a forest wall hanging type thing - its been in my head for agaes & i think these fabrics are what i've been waiting for!
i have 2 green striped chairs given to me for my bday from my hubbie. They are actually from our local library & may have been the chairs we sat i nfor one of our many reading dates go to the library - geeky i know :)
I would make a quilt to snuggle under in my favorite chair in the living room.
Love it! I'd definitely make a quilt with it!
Beautiful fabric and the quilts are incredible
ohh i would love some of this fabric!
If I were lucky enough to win, I'd make a quilt for myself- the first one. I usually make them for others.
I love chairs & I love fabrics, so this is amazing! They would look great in a quilt, but I would probably use them as lining in a bag. The green ones are wonderful!
What couldn't I do with this?!!? I am in love with the brigt colors and can't wait to get my hands on them.
Wow, after seeing Ashley's quilt, I would definetely want to make a quilt with it - it looks heavenly.
OMG what beautiful bright fabulous fabric!!! I have no idea what I'd use it for yet, I might just have to love on it and pet it for a while to get inspired...but whatever it became, it would be beautiful for sure :)
sarah - www.indulgeonline.us
SOFA THROW, to cover my ugly black leather sofa in my sun room, its too cold on your legs in the winter and too hot to sit on in the summer, so a quilted throw is the solution.
Those fabrics are so adorable! I would make a tote bag for my sister =D
Thanks for the chance.
I love your designs, and would love to win some of your fabric.
Oh wow! I love this line! I would love the sorbet colorway for a quilt for my guest bed, and the grass and sorbet for pillows for my family room! I will be watching for the quilt pattern on Kauffman. Thanks so much!!!
Ooooh. I'd love some fun new fabric for a quilt!
Wow, they are so gorgeous, I LOVE the colors!! Can't wait for them to hit the shelves of fabric stores! I really love those chairs!!

So bright and bold. I am always on the hunt for fabrics that will work well for quilts in a boy's room. Or even cuter - use the two colorways for matching quilts for a boy and a girl.
Gorgeous! I would use these fabrics in a quilt and perhaps to make a few throw pillows for my sofa/chair.
Those are so great! As soon as I saw the stack of fabric, my oldest son popped into my head. He would love any quilt made out of those!
Oh my gosh if I don't win I'll have to add them to my Mother's Day wish list. Thanks.
I came here from Film in the Fridge and now I have ANOTHER blog to add to my must read list! Loving the fabric - very fun and would make the BEST pillows for my little girl's bed and chair in her room.
Your new line is wonderful, and Ashley's quilts are a great showcase for it. Good stuff!
love the chairs! i'm an architect and am chair obsessed, i would attempt some pillows for my living room with these.
This is such beautiful fabric. It reminds me of this old over-sized wing back chair we had as I was growing up. I have very fond memories of that chair: my dad reading me stories, falling asleep in it waiting for Santa, etc. It slowly started deteriorate, and my parents replaced it with a recliner. I was devastated, and have since been keeping my eye out for something similar to claim as my own. This would make the perfect quilt to curl up in it. Thanks for the giveaway.
Congratulations! Your fabrics would look great in a quilt for my living room--it would really brighten things up!
How exciting! I can't wait for Tufted Tweets to hit the stores. My favorite chair is our big leather recliner that we bought as our third anniversary gift for each other. It is so comfy, yet regal. ;0)
mvansciver@gmail.com
HI. I came here from Ashley's site--love the bright fabrics--would be used for pillows for my couch. Actually, I told myself, if I win them, I may buy a new couch.
L a u r i e... you need to just stop all the shenanigans and send those puppies straight over to me! period! Ashley and i were just discussing how your new fabrics MUST be made into hexies... now i know that our crazy quick friend will spit them out like sunflower seeds... but how can you make me wait until June to try!!! aaarrgg... it's so cruel!! ( wink, wink )
either way though... you have fab designs and deserve to have them printed... congrats!! ;)
xo, Heather
Hmmmmm, I don't know what I'd make. I love your stuff so much, and the colors really speak to me....well, actually, they yell at me, "pick me, you know you like me best!" It's really hard to decide (and hard to ignore them!). I would be so honored to win some of them. Maybe a pillow? Maybe a quilt? Whatever it is, it would be gorgeous!! 8-)
Wow, talk about amazing fabric! I'd use it to cover a bulletin board, and in a quilt, I think. Love it!
I love these and would have to turn them into a fabulous quilt - that I would keep for myself!
And my favorite seat is always the cushy club chair with ottoman. Love to curl up with a book or handwork!
so cute!! i think I would try to make a quilt or maybe a cute summer bag.
I found my way here from Ashley's site and I must say I'm in love, my heart palpatating, I can smell the fiber feel the textile sensation in my hands, I have always had a love affair with fiber since I was a little girl watching my grandmother make beautiful things on her peddle sewing machine. Do you know she went to the angels in 1985 and never ever made anything on a modern machine, even now telling you I can see her foot keeping time to the beat of my heart. So strange that Ashleys quilts are considered modern? My gamma made many quilts such as these because she never threw a piece of fiber away, shirts, pants, old blankets, etc were all repurposed into quilts. Everyone considered gamma old fashioined and excentric, I guess she was a modern woman after all! Bestill my heart, I would love to win this giveaway, but in any case I've already been given a gift in your sharing... XOXO Keke
I think I'd have to use them to make pillows for the couch, or else covers for chair pads. Fun!
Such fun fabric. They really look great. Can't wait to see them in person. Congrats!
I would make a dorm room throw for my daughter
I LOVE these fabrics, Ashley's quit is so cool and I would love to make a quilt with them.
Totally in love with your fabrics! I would use them in the make-over of my sewing room. The purple and green colorways would look great, perhaps to skirt my cutting table, or maybe stretch some of the prints over canvases for wall art. Can't get enough of those chairs and sofas! ohrvall (at) msn dot com.
Love those two quilts, especially the colourway of the large throw. I think if I was lucky enough to win the FQs, I too would make a quilt.
How come I haven't seen your fabric around in blogs. Guess I must be blind, it is gorgeous!
My favourite seating apparatus is the fainting couch. I don't own one, but I love the look of them. Maybe someday.
Anyway, if I were to win (and anyway, when I buy some of your fabric) I'd like to use it to make some art to hang on my bedroom wall. I haven't figured out how exactly it will look, but I'd rather wait until I actually see the fabric in person, a lot will depend on scale.
(Contact address: cayenne[dot]sea[at]gmail[dot]com)
Can't wait to see these in person....already thinking about all great things to make with these beautiful prints!
My favorite chair as a kid was my great grandmother's chair. Sadly, it died a sad death, when my mother put off recovering it too long and my cat pulled all the stuffing out.
i love this line! i would have a hard time deciding between a film in the fridge type quilt or the placemats on your blog -those fit my style and colors perfectly and i've been dying to try placemats mod style!
I'm painting and re-seating (rush) a chair right now. I'm painting it a bright grass green, and I think your fabrics would make lovely cushions!
So bright and beautiful!
It would be a toss up between a baby quilt for (well, I don't know who yet) and a lap quilt to keep for myself (I saw a gorgeous one the other day ... huge pinwheels ... and shaped like a long rectangular shawl)
Thanks for the generous give-away!
Love the colors
wow - these look great - first time I've seen them!! thanks for sharing.
Congrats on your fabulous fabric line! I would seriously make my husband a sofa couch - with the sofa fabric! Love the colours! Thanks for the chance - and all the tips for the other chances!
Great fabrics!! Congratulations on your success! I might just cover some bulletin boards or canvas for a display on my wall :)
Oh just imagine the sweet baby quilts I could make with this great looking fabric!
Thanks so much for a chance to win :0).
Love your creations........
Happy Sewing
Thanks for the chance to win this gorgeous collection. I would definitely make dresses out of every piece. The fabric is just SO fun and I'm famous 'round my parts for having fantastic, quirky dresses! Have a lovely weekend! <3
eleanorbeasley(at)gmail(dot)com
your fabric is so gorgeous! i would love to make matching quilt and apron.
Congratulations! The fabric looks wonderful! I love colours, thanks sharonj.
I love the fabrics!! Ashley did a wonderful job showcasing your beautiful works of art!
I love these fabrics. Finally more prints that I can use for "boy" quilts!
i love the bright colours, I think I would make a throw for my nursing chair so that when number 2 child finally gets here it will look fantastic, instead of shabby and old!
Oh my! I collect pics of chairs because I have a chair fetish and am always dreaming of chairs. Now I could actually cover a chair in chair fabric.. nirvana :)
What a fun tote, purse or even a cute diaper bag those would make.
You have done a great job with your first line! Look forward to seeing what else you come up with.
Fabulous fabrics! I would definitely make a quilt, maybe flying geese...
You are a great inspiration - a huge congratulations on your line! I've been admiring it on Etsy for some time now so I'm so happy for you to get the recognition you deserve...and by your other designs, I'm sure this is only the beginning!:)
My grandma is an amazing hand quilter and I am more than inspired by her...since grandpa just passed last week, I'm setting weekly dates with her to learn/share all I can (quilts and just life:) -- what a great vibrant fun start this line would be! Thank you so much for your giveaway!
Take care, ♥ Drea
ttozdesigns@yahoo.com
I love modern fabrics with bold prints in bright colors...and your new line really jive w/ me! :) Great job! I'm sure it's so rewarding to see your work come to fruition! Congrats!!
I am in love with the fabrics! The prints are sophisticated, and whimsical at the same time. I'm thinking of mixing and matching for nursery curtains....can't wait to see them in person!
Your designs are really interesting and quite original in the quilting world - well done!! I do love chairs too - My fave one is one we found on the side of the road in the middle of the night - an overstuffed armchair which we had covered in a simple lovely cream flocked fabric - it lives in our bedroom.
Congratulations - your fabric is soooooo pretty and the colours delicious. I have no idea what I would make, but I know that a few snippits would find their way onto an eye spy quilt I am making for my littlest boy! As for my most favourite thing to sit on, well that would have to be the bench at the corner of my allotment. It overlooks my plot and is just heaven on a sunny day! Thanks for the giveaway!
Beautiful fabric!
We're still in the state with mismatched furniture that we (my husband and I) each had before we got married. And now, with two small children, we're not replacing anything until the threat of bodily fluids subsides:)
With the fabric, then, I'd maybe make some pillows to spruce up that boring old Futon.
jstpetersen@gmail.com
hey! congratulations! love the fabric-- I would enjoy using it a in a fresh, fun quilt! my e-mail address is scottc@etown.edu
Oh, I LOVE the bright colors! These would have to be made into a quilt for the recently painted (very neutral) living room... and it would live on the back of the sofa, of course! Thanks for the great giveaway!
~Kimmer
lynchmob4022@sbcglobal.net
i'd make a quilt for me. nobody else, just me.
Oh. My. Gosh. Fabric! I'm a new sewer (still weird to say) as of a few months ago and love fabric! I never noticed the overwhelming beauty of fabric until I started sewing. Now I'm a bit obsessed to start growing my fabric collection. I love old wooden vintage chairs with a recovered seat in a fun, colorful design.
-Ana (ana.sontag@gmail.com)
Really fantastic, I'm looking forward to buying up some of the purples - love the purple sofa. I think they belong as fancy cuts in the centre of scrappy quilt blocks. Ooh & a pencil case!
OMG! this fabric is giving me itchy fingers. I must have it. In my minds eye I can SO see a beautiful quilt taking place. I have to confess that it'd be unique and geometric... the fabric is inspiring!
Amazing fabric and the quilts are also fabulous. I am loving all the clean lines, colors and whimsey. I love my big green and white toile club chair and ottoman. I sit there finishing the binding on quilts and planning the next one!
Love the fabrics! I would probably make a quilt with them!! Thanks for the giveaway! My favorite are antique wooden chairs...I love the look of them!
Gorgeous fabric, and Ashley uses them so well!
These fabrics are amazing and look fantastic in Ashley's quilts.
My favorite chair was a super comfortable armchair + ottoman that my parents had when I was growing up. I remember dozens of lazy weekend afternoons spent reading or watching TV in that chair. The fabric was a dark tartan, and the wooden frame had interesting scrollwork -- I loved tracing the patterns with my fingers.
Thank you for offering this giveaway!
graceecho [at] gmail [dot] com
I love the way your fabric looks with Ashley's quilt pattern. I can't wait to download the pattern from the Robert Kaufman website!
As for my favorite seating, I love any arm chair that I can cozy up into, pull my feet up, and snuggle between the arms. Fabulous!
I am in love! Can't wait to get my hands some! I have an idea for making cushions for my kitchen chairs, each to be different. Oh, I can't wait!!!
I just love the fabrics. I would make a quilt of them. Thanks for the giveaway
734 comments... like I have a chance ... but; I think after looking, feeling and smelling this fabric... I would make a crazy quilt... big, big, blocks with all the colors and then snuggle underneath... it would brighten my darkest days of winter when there is no color to be seen amidst all the white and grays of the winter days...thanks..
v.excited about this range! congratulations! it's awesome :)
I have a bit of a chair fetish and can't go past a 2nd hand furniture store without having a peek inside for cool or unusual chairs - i love mix and match chairs around a dining table, there's too many cute chairs out there to stick to a matching set ;)!
Would love to win some of this fabric! Makes me think retro cool - very Marsha Brady. Marsha, Marsha, Marsha, wasn't she the coolest!
What a wonderful set of fabrics! They would make some nice pillows for my sister, who's getting married next month!
Your fabric is awesome! I see a bold baby quilt and definitely a new bed quilt for my room!
Ashley always does do amazing work and the fabric is beautiful! Just lovely! Hope I win!!
Yay, your prints are the cutest things ever. I've always loved bird prints the best, so this set is PERFECT. I think we can all agree that Ashley makes awesome quilts :D.
After seeing the quilts created by Film in the Fridge, think would have to make that quilt from Tufted Tweets fabrics.
Goodness...I don't know what I would make! I am so in over my head on projects right now! But these fabrics are GREAT and I would love to win some to add to my stash! I thikn that my favorite place to sit is anywhere with my little girl on my lap!
FANtastic! I would love anything in these fabrics! I'll need some time to think about it....A QUILT! Of course!
Lovely prints, I would just add them to my stash, waiting for the inspiration to come! beautiful, thanks, Kerry.
These fabrics are WAY cool and I love the ways you've used them.
Congratulations Laurie! I'm a convert from Ashley's blog. Love your new pretties and was so excited to find the couches in colorful fabrics - especially your reds. So cheerful & clever and just PERFECT for this mom on a quilting mission. I'm making a "couch potatoe" quilt to lift the spirits of our young fire-fighter son recuperating from spinal injuries sustained in a commercial building fire. Since he keeps telling us he's growing sprouts like a couch potatoe, a healthy dose of color and couch related whimsy in his very own "guy quilt" is sure to win a smile - which is my new mission till he's more his old self again. I'll be hounding my two favorite quilt shops to get them in PDQ! Thank you for ending my fabric search (Insert grin here).
Wishing you continued blessings, MiMi (cqsilk@yahoo.com)
Oh, I would definitely make a quilt - hate to be a copycat (ha!), but an earlier commenter mentioned using these fabrics in a zigzag quilt, and I agree they would show well in that pattern! I love your fabrics!!!
I love the shapes (besides the furniture...) and colors in this line. I would love to add them to the wedding quilt I'm making for my best girl and her soon-to-be hubby.
Love the new fabric--can't wait to see it in my local shop! Can see using them in the Unfurnished quilt and some sweet skirts for my little niece.
My favorite sitting apparatus...hmmm... probably my mid century modern chairs I bought off of craigslist. They are low to the ground, comfortable, and I like to sit in them and look out the window. beevan@hotmail.com
First off, congratulations on getting your fabric printed by Robert Kaufman, that's an amazing accomplishment! I've been following Ashley's blog and was introduced to your blog that way, as well as your awesome fabrics!
Anyways, if I win, I'll make a spiderweb lap quilt, and hopefully two matching pillows. I'll probably have to go out and buy more yardage, but that's okay with me! And of course, it'll be for our couch, since I can't think of anywhere better for your fabrics to be!
Here is hoping i didn't enter more than once. my laptop has issues.
Would make a lap quilt for the sofa. Love Film in the Fridge's purple and green!
Wow - you must be excited. Thanks for living my dream of chucking the professional office life to design fabric.
Your story is so inspiring! I love the colors of your fabrics, and I would make them into a quilt asap! :) Thanks for a yummy giveaway!
~Molly
I love your new collection (so very thrilled for you!) but meant to get the old spoonflower red & aqua =( so sad about that! Must have some of the new fabrics though! As for what type of chair I love- any nice big comfy chair I can curl up in with a book (& maybe a cat) and take a nap in. heading now over to check film in the fridge (i visit her every few days) to see!!! & I'm kitkabbit(at)gmail(dot)com
A quilt of course! I am so jonesing for some new, fresh fabric for a fun quilt for snuggling in my brand new (and quickly a favorite) leather chair!
Congrats Laurie on the launch of this new line! I love it and all the work you do... I have some of your donkeys with wellies! Can't wait to see what you will create next!
Hi Laurie, I am sooo excited for you!! I can't wait to see your fabric in the stores!! I would just love to win this giveaway!! I can see a quilt, some pillows, maybe some purses or wristlets, I know I'll find something to make!!:) I've got my fingers and toes crossed! :) Thank you for the chance and congratulations!!
orr20004@msn.com
Fun fabric I would use with another design to make a quilt for the family. Fun!
whoo hooo. can't wait for this to come out.
The quilts are awesome. I'd love to try that style of piecing.....Thanks for the chance to win!! My fav chair is a LARGE leather recliner so I can really lift my legs up and stretch out almost flat!....The only time I get to use it is when I am binding a quilt!!!!

Congratulations on the line! The fabrics are gorgeous. My daughter, who is an interior designer, would get a new pillow! She would be the envy of everyone at the office!

I LOVE all of the prints here! Excellent work!!!! I especially like the little birds on chairs...so sweet!!! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!!
I absolutely love these fabrics. I'm living in the Middle East right now and having issues with finding good quality fabrics. Seeing these, I suppose I'll be online and ordering soon. Trying to decide between doing a table topper or a lap quilt with these. I love the bright colors. Everything is kindof brown here. Need to brighten things up a bit.
