Giveaway - Urban Circus FQ set

One of my favorite parts of the day is checking my blog and my Flickr account for new comments and pictures. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to see what you guys are making with my fabric. The quilts, the bags, the clothes... SOOO cute! Lately I've noticed there haven't been as many pictures of creations made with Urban Circus though.

So I'm hoping that perhaps if I entice you with a giveaway, you'll post some more pictures!! Here's how the giveaway will work.

--Only one entry per person regardless of how many pics you post or comments you leave please. I want everyone to have a chance to win!

--The winner will receive a full FQ set of both color stories of Urban Circus. That's 8 FQS!!

--TO ENTER: Leave me a comment here (this will be your entry to win). Tell me either what you have made with Urban Circus (or any of my fabrics!) OR if you haven't made anything yet, tell me what you'd like to make! I will draw a winner after 9am CT on Saturday 10/16/10.

--Then if you have pictures to share, just head over to my Flick group and post your pics! I would really love to see what you've made!!

To get you in the mood, here are a few pictures of some recent creations from some very, very talented folks! (Thanks for sharing these!!)

  3. My sister is pregnant with her second baby, and I am planning on making an elephants (and giraffes) on parade quilt. We're not sure if it's a boy or girl yet, but these bright colors are perfect either way!

  4. So many fantastic ideas on Flickr. Love the fabrics, maybe a wonky log cabin pillow, then I could see them all at once.

  5. I need to make a quilt for a newborn and the color scheme covers any color the room could be in! Great way to make it easier on quilters sewing for newborns!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I have used your fabric in a patchwork quilt. I chose them because they brought out a lot of other colors in the quilt perfectly. Would love more!

    ReplyDelete

  9. i've been yearning for this fabric since you first released it. but unfortunately my bank account hasn't been too happy with me. so no urban circus for me yet.

were expecting our first boy in december and i would really like to make a fancy new babycarrier for him (my two girls also had "their" special mei tais). the line would also be perfect for a wall art i've been dreaming of making for the kid's room they have an orange wall that these fabrics would look absolutely amazing with. :)

btw, it's really nice to imagine what it's like for you to see your work put to work. i always wonder how much attention fabric designers pay to how their fabrics are later used and if you ever draw inspiration for future lines from what you discover.

  97. I'm in love with Tufted Tweets, and just found Kona medium grey so I can go ahead on that. I have two designs in mind, gotta decide. I splurged on half yard pieces of donkey in boots, and rain boots (original design). I picked up Kate Conklin's pattern for that material, and have yet to receive the rasperry pink and lime to go with that -- but I have another design in mind. And I just received your email that Santa donkeys and boots are on their way. I have to see that before I can start dreaming. I haven't been able to sew for a while now, but I can still travel the web and start gathering the goodies! I have looked at Urban Circus so many times, wishing it were here in a nice folded pile of color and design next to my chair. Since I discovered your designs I started getting fabric again -- my sewing days aren't over yet. ;-)

  180. I haven't made anything yet. I just got the sewing bug a few weeks ago when making my Bo Peep costume for my 3 yr old daughter and little lamb costumes for my 11 month old twin girls. My sewing machine is finally seeing some action after sitting in the basement for 2 years. Then Joann's had their Simplicity patterns for 99 cents so I have tons of potential projects. I am selling my twins' nursery set and want to make something myself. I also love this cute little project. They are perfect for using a huge variety of fabrics together. http://www.simplicity.com/p-1658-crafts.aspx

  187. I'll make pincushion and paperweight by cutting cloth in shape of animals or a circle/square of the animal then make a cylinder/cubic. Enter it with polyester or small pebble. Another one is making a cushion of alphabets( A, B, C...). I've thought of these projects a year before (but no time to do yet 'cause I've 2 little kids to take care). Since that moment, I 've thought that I can make a business of these projects that people can purchase them for friends or for decorating room such as giving the cushion "L" for Miss Laurie Wisbrun and so on. I'll be so glad if I've this giveaway to start my business :)
