Pooches and Pickups - Finally revealed and a Giveaway!

Let me start by apologizing. I didn't mean to torture you with the sneaky peekies! But at long last I can finally share my newest line for Robert Kaufman! Pooches and Pickups is headed out to the sales force today so if you have a store, call your rep and place your order. The fabric will start shipping to stores during April so start planning your sewing projects now. I'm also working on a few projects with the fabric that I'll be sharing over the next few weeks.
Pooches and Pickups is made up of 3 patterns: Big Trucks, Small Trucks and Pooches. It comes in two color stories: Spring (blue and green) and Summer (red and ochre).

A friend of mine came over a few weekend ago to help me snap some pictures of everything and we giggled and gabbed while drinking coffee and setting everything up. Boat loads (or should I say truck loads) of fun! I didn't even plan out that I was wearing my Pooches and Pickups PJ shorts for our photoshoot. And yes, I was still in my PJs for the photoshoot. And yes, that's an old boxspring on my wall...I just adore all the shapes and patterns it makes and turns out its a fabulous prop. :)

Now, for the disclaimer... Do as I say, not as I design. Huh you say? Lemme explain...I designed this fabric as a little tribute to my sweet Clara dog. (It's been a year since she passed away.) And that girl LOVED, LOVED, LOVED riding in my car. Ears flapping and drool flying. But I drive a station wagon (sassy huh?) which frankly didn't make for very cute fabric. So insert vintage pickup truck in place of wagon and I was off to the races. The design became exponentially cuter with the pooch in the back, so into the bed of the truck the pooches went. But it's pretty dangerous for pooches to ride in the back of truck, ya know? So you see my dilema. Do as I say and not as I design. Keep your pooches safe inside your cars or trucks. :)
Now for the free fabric! I'm giving away two FQ packs of Pooches and Pickups to two lucky winners. You know the drill...Leave a comment here on the blog and tell me what you'd like to make (or tell me about your pooch!). I'll use the random number generator to select 2 winners this coming Saturday evening, 4/16/11 at roughly 6pm CT. Good luck and I hope you love the fabric!

  1. I looove this fabric. It makes me happy just to look at it. I would make two quilts for my little boys (or strip pillowcases) to remind them of Tucker. A big black lab that we had to leave behind when we moved due to moving into an apartment. My boys are 2 & 3 and loved that dog. Half the time I couldn't tell who was chasing who as they chased each other around the island in the kitchen.

  2. Oh so cute! I would make somethings for my four nephews-- Pillowcases are a great idea! Or work them into lap quilts... So many possibilities!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Fab.u.lous! My two pooches, Moose and Rowdy are brother and sister and have free reign on our farm. They are not fond of riding around...they prefer to run, so no worries there!
Thanks for a chance to win some yummy fabric!

  4. Wow... Beautiful line... I'd love to make something for my nephew... I'm making quilts for all my nephews and one niece for a upcoming family gathering... This could sure help me with that one!
    Cheers from India

  5. This is the cutest fabric I've seen lately! Thanks for the chance to win:)
We lost one of our pooches last November. He was terrified to ride in the car, but our other one loves to go even if it's just in the driveway!

  7. Love your new fabric. I'm so excited for a great print for boys! My son would love something made from this fabric...maybe a pillow for his bed?

  11. Aww - what a nice story. My puggy loves riding shotgun.

I come from a long LONG line of all-daughter families, and last week my cousin Lisa and her husband brought the very first boy into the mix. We're head over heels, but I'm lost having never sewn anything for a boy. Your fabrics are releasing at just the right time!

    Congrats on your new line!

  12. i don't have a dog, i have a cat, but my parents have 3 massive siberian huskies! the oldest is 2 years and the youngest is about 6 months, so their backyard is like a giant puppy playground. i can't wait to see them all blow their coats when the weather starts to get warm (i know i know, it should be warm already. but we've got snow in the forecast again today).

  13. Love this line! When I was little we (me, my brother, and the dog)loved nothing more than to jump in the back of my dad's truck and go for a ride. It gives me a heart attack to think about it now, but at the time it was the coolest thing ever!

    ReplyDelete
  14. now seriously..you are KILLING me..LOVE it all!

The truck reminds me of my uncle's Studebaker he used to race

    ReplyDelete
  15. I would make the cutest dog bed, then my furry BFF wouldn't sleep in my scrap basket!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. Love the pickups! I'd definitely contribute this to my quilt groups stash for Project Linus charity quilts...it would be perfect for little boys!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well I don't have a pooch, so this would be as near as I get, and I don't have a pick-up either!

I think the men in my life, hubby & son deserve something to counteract all the pink the twins are filling the house with!!

    Thanks for the opportunity x

    ReplyDelete
  23. What a nice thot for Clara; if I win, I'll be thinking about her each time I use it.

What I'd do with it? Make the cutest quilt ever for one of my grandsons.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I do love it, and thanks for the disclaimer. I have two Golden Retrievers that ride in the back seat of my car. They each think that they deserve the entire back seat for themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love love love this fabric. My dog was a constant in my life and I still miss him. Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  28. This fabric is great! It's nice to see such cute boy fabric. I have 2 friends having baby boys soon, so I'd make quilts for them.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'll have to get some yardage of these, because right away I wanted to make more boxers for my husband. He's building us a 54 Chevy truck (total restoration) and our dogs will be riding in the bed someday when it is done.

If I got the fqs, I'd have to make another little quilt for his helper, our 2 yr old grandson, Tyler.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I will make quilts for each of my precious dogs' beds!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wow, so cute - another great collection. I would probably make some baby pants or bibs for my son.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't have a pooch or a pickup, but love the fabric and the colors. Good job!

    ReplyDelete
  33. So fun! I have a new baby boy. I'm thinking pants and a matching quilt for floor time. Maybe a bucket hat...

    ReplyDelete
  34. My youngest boy, Aidan, is absolutely consumed by both trucks and dogs. This would make the cutest carrying bag for his obsessions!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oohhh!!! Lunch bags for all!! These are so cute!

    ReplyDelete
  36. So much fun! I want a pooch and a pickup, but sadly have neither so fabric will have to do!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Such fun fabric Laurie, I love it!
I'm declaring the summer of 2011 dressmaking summer, so I'd have to attempt a pair of shorts out of pooches and trucks for my little boy :-)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh my goodness, it was love at first sight for me and this fabric (well, I don't know how the fabric feels). I'd do a quilt, for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Pet beds, clearly! (: Super cute fabric, I'm excited to finally see it!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't own a pooch or a pickup but I'd definitely like to own some of this fabric to make a vibrant quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  41. super cute fabric. I'd likely make a quilt or a bib for my nephew...that is to be born any day now. My sister is overdue actually...

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think they'd make a lovely baby quilt for a boy - Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am originally from small town Minnesota, where nearly everyone owns a pickup. When farmers came to town for coffee at the local cafe, the dogs came too, yippin' and a yappin' to each other, catching up on the latest gossip. Yep, mid-mornin' was a noisy time to take a trip down Main Street!

Love the fabric and the memories it evokes!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'd probably hang onto the fabrics until I have another friend preggo with a boy (they've all been girls lately) - the primary colors are wonderful!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Two of my son's favourite things...trucks and dogs!
Love these! Especially the spring colourway, definitely seeing s stroller quilt for my little guy!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh my gosh! Laurie! I think this is my favorite line, yet! :o) You always design SUCH adorable fabrics.
I will be buying some to make something for my sweet dad. He loves (and has a couple) restored Chevy trucks, and loves (and has a couple) pooches. It's SO hard to find good fabric for my dad, and this is PPPPPEEEEERRRRRFFFEEECCCCTTTT!!!!
Thanks, Laurie! I love it. :o)

    ReplyDelete
  47. So cute! My old yellow lab sleeps in the bed with my 3-year-old son, so I'd definitely make them a quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'd love to make a baby boy quilt with these adorable fabrics. Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I love your fabric. I love dogs and know just what I would do with the fabric. Way to go!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Cute fabric! I'd love to make a kids quilt out of this. :) Also linked the giveaway on my blog at http://www.craftbuds.com/giveaway-roundup/

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'd make a quilt for my nephew--he loves dogs and trucks.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I might have a hard time actually cutting into these so I can't say what I'd make. I did have the cutest dachshund growing up. She used to sulk when my dad returned from business trips. She would be so excited to hear his car and footsteps but as soon as he came in the house, she would go sit under the piano bench and very deliberately turn her back to the room. It always took at least ten minutes of cajoling and apologising to get her to come out and say hi to him!

  54. Hello Laurie,

Cushions and covers for my furry inmates: Miss, Lipton, Petit Coeur and Chat (cat in French) and for me a dashing messenger bag to show off anywhere, here in Switzerland.

Tout est si joli, bravo Laurie !

    Greetings

    Maria

  55. awww, i love it! i'd totally make a blanket that i could share with my snuggly westie, louie. :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. so fun! even the name evokes a smile! Our dog Izzi thinks she needs to ride to the post office with us! Barbi

    ReplyDelete
  57. What an awesome follow up to Tufted Tweeds...I have my fats from that..I just can't cut into them yet! I have two Vizsla's, Tara and her baby Jake. We lost a Dalmatian to kidney stones about 14 years ago...still remember the sadness when he was gone. Lisa in Texas

    ReplyDelete
  58. Another great collection Laurie! I have 2 boys (4 and 20 mo.) - I'd love to make a quilt for them as you can't get more BOY than pooches and pickups!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I LOVE Pooches and Pickups! We have a family dog, who is a 12 year old Jack Russel. I've had her since before I met my husband and had kids, so the dog and I have some history and a great bond. I agree that it is unsafe for a dog to be in the back of a truck, but sometimes those big dogs just look so happy going for a ride in the wind! Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Oh, these are even better than I thought they would be - so much fun!!
I've got a few baby quilts that I need to make, but I'd also like to use these for some cute shorts. Thanks for the chance in the giveaway :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. this has got to be the best "little boy" fabric EVER!! (although I do think 32 year old women will also love it!)

my son would LOVE a quilt out of this!!!!!

We have a 7yr old boxerxlab and she's lovely. Her name is Shelby and she was our baby before we had babies. We brought her home at 5 lbs and now she is a whopping 74 lbs!! she adores our kids and is a grand protector.
She has lovely sad eyes, loves a good scratch and tucks in her upper lip like Elvis!
    she's a keeper :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. My two pooches (a border collie and a chocolate lab) tell me that I should make them bandannas if I win the fabric. Phooey on them! Much too cute to let them muck it up in the yard!! But my daughter is in the process of adopting a child from Ethiopia, and this would make such a cute little boy quilt (if it's a boy!)

    ReplyDelete
  63. great fabric! i'd love to use it in a quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  64. This would be perfect for a quilt for my brother and sister-in-law. They have 5 dogs and a pickup truck. Needless to say, they love dogs. Wonderful design, and I'd love to win. Kathie L in Allentown

    ReplyDelete
  65. Laurie, I LOVE this line! It is fantastic! Wouldn't this make a great dog bed? And he could dream of riding around in a pickup all evening :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Nice buns in your boxers! I have a dog with legs short enough that he wouldn't be able to see over the box of a pick up...he's an obnoxious miniature dachshund named Flynn. If you ever came to my front door, you'd swear there was a killer doberman behind it, then you'd bust up laughing when you saw all 12 lbs of terror barking at you. We love doxies for their personality....we just weren't counting on quite so much of it! Thanks for sharing your fun fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I love the pickups! And the yellow dogs look like my golden retrievers - an old-man red colored one named Magnus and a big, fluffy, light-colored one named Hampshire. The fluffy one does well with the stereotypes typical of blonds.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I would make a sportsbag for my 5-year old.
I especially love the truck fabric!

Thanks for the chance to win some fq's!

    -Corine

    ReplyDelete
  69. I LOVE these fabrics! :D I am really into baby quilts these days, and I would love to make one for my pup, Mieko, who prefers to sleep under a blanket. Since he's black and white, he would look great against these graphic prints.

    ReplyDelete
  70. My 5 year old son saw this page open and said 'wicked! can i have a quilt in that mum?' so there's our answer, he loves anything with an engine and we have a lovely rescue dog BUSTER (Lurcher/Wiemeraner cross) who you can see here: http://craftsfromkaren.blogspot.com/search/label/Buster

    ReplyDelete
  71. Cricket was our family dog. He was the most reliable time keeper I've ever met. Every afternoon at 3.15 he'd move to the front door to watch for the paper boy. Then he'd bark to let us know when the paper was delivered... out he'd run, and bring it in. For a wee biscuit of course :) He was quite disgruntled when Mum and Dad stopped getting the paper delivered. He was our best friend for 18 years.

Thanks for the chance to win some FQ's. Is this fabric going to be available in a laminate? It would make the cutest wee raincoats.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Such cute fabric! My girl Beatrice is really hoping we'll buy a truck so she can ride in the back with the wind in her nose. But seeing as how she keeps ringing up giant vet bills, I think we're stuck with our 2 door hatch back!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Would LOVE to win some of this. My husband is totally obsessed with labs. I want to say I'd use it for a baby quilt, but it might end up as a quilt for our own sweet Lab....

    ReplyDelete
  74. a baby quilt or jammies for my son! My pooch is no longer with us, but she lasted 11 years and she was a wonderful dog!

    MGM

    ReplyDelete
  75. I love this in both colourways. I don't know exactly the design but I think I'd make a tote bag and a small zippy bag or two to go inside it.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Love your fabric! Charlie, our black lab, knows when my husband puts on his jeans that it is Saturday morning and time to go riding in the pick up!! He won't let him out of his sight for fear that he'll miss his chance to go for a ride. I may just have to make him a new dog bed out of this fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Happy, fun fabric! Bound to make anything look great - very much reminds me of my black lab Newman, who adores car rides. He's my best co-pilot!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Lovely! I would make a lap quilt for my son, have made one for the rest of the family, but have not found the right fabric for his yet. This would suit perfectly!

    ReplyDelete
  79. My two favorite things: pickups and pooches! Thanks for the chance to win. Beautiful fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Wow I love the fabric and the fact that it's about you and your pooch "Clara" Such a sweet and beautiful idea, in memory for her :) My little boy Max would totally love the fabric as he is totally nuts about pickup trucks and dogs... well basically anything with four wheels or legs really but he would love it! I'm thinking duvet cover or maybe pillows that he can drag around with him :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. i love the prints so much! two of my coworkers are expecting baby boys this summer, so i'd love to make some receiving blankets and matching bibs and wash cloths for them!

    ReplyDelete
  82. The dogs remind me of my black lab that I'm sure would have enjoyed a ride in a pickup!

    ReplyDelete
  83. A cute patchworky pillowcase for my son would be soo nice with these fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  84. This cute fabric might find it's way into a baby quilt for a new grandniece/nephew due this summer. The fabric is so cute. Thanks for the fun giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  85. oooo i would definately love to make something for my kids! We had a golden lab growing up and just before Christmas she had to be put down because she was so old (16!!)...i keep her tag and photo hanging in my sewing room so i can always remember all the fun we had!

    ReplyDelete
  86. This line is adorable! I too had a lovely black pooch who loved to ride... I would for sure make a variety of things with the fabric including but not limited to pillow, quilt, tote/diaper bag, and baby pants.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Such happy fabric - I would make my godson a cute quilt with this! thanks
    butler83ataoldotcom

    ReplyDelete
  88. Oh, wow, so cute !!! I would make the wee boy a backpack or messenger bag as his has just broke. Then some zip up pouches.

    ReplyDelete
  89. My pooch is a long haired white westie maltese cross with a very happy disposition as long as I walk him daily. If I don't the cushions are off the couch day one, day 2 the stuffing is out of the oldest one so cute material for a new cushion would be a hoot

    ReplyDelete
  90. What would we do without our dogs?... My beagle curls up on his cushion in the sewing room whenever I am in there and my chihuahua would rather sit on my lap at the machine! Life is better with a dog around. Love your fabric....cute, cute, cute!

    ReplyDelete
  91. I will tell you about my pooch. He is very bad and certainly does not deserve for me to make him anything from this fabric. My two little boys are equally as mischevious though and they probably don't deserve it either. Hmmm. Perhaps I could make a harness that would fit all three of them at once.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I can't wait to get this fabric. I want to make a quilt for my 6 year old son. Also, we have a 9 month old, 80 lb, lab/bulldog mix, so this would be perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I would love to make the quilt on oh! Fransons blog. Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win this. I can just see some awesome baby boy items made from this. I'm seeing cute bedding, blankets, pants, shirts, ANYTHING! It is just TOO CUTE!

    ReplyDelete
  95. I think the puppies are cute. I would make a baby quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Supercute! My Golden Retriever, Tucker, would never even think of getting into the back of a truck. Ha! He sits gracefully inside the car, on the back seat, allowing the breeze to waft over him from the open window. Ummm, spoiled?

I'd love to use this fabric as a slipcover for one of his dog beds. :O)

    ReplyDelete
  97. I love this great fabric! I have three boys, and they would love some cute little boy size button up shirts I think. That would be adorable!

When I first saw the opening picture, I thought, Oh no! Not in the bed of a truck! So THANK YOU so much for the warning! I worked as a vet tech at an emergency clinic for almost 5 years, and I BEG everyone to never, ever put their dog in the bed. Not even tied (that is dangerous too!). A great compromise if you have a truck with a small cab is a big plastic crate secured with a motorcycle ratchet tie-down! :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. The fabric is super cute Laurie! I would probably use the fabric for a cute baby boy quilt :)

    ReplyDelete
  99. The cutest boy fabric ever! Our dogs will do nearly anything for a ride. We can barely put on shoes/boots because they are trying to help so that they can go quicker.

    ReplyDelete
  100. what cute fabric. I'd love to make a quilt for my godson.

    ReplyDelete
  101. These are lovely. I can't wait to use them in a project. I think I would make a wallet for my nephews and use some in a few blocks in their soon to be made quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  102. The fabric is adorable. I would probably make a bed quilt for my youngest grandson. They have relocated back here to Australia, much to my delight, after almost 10 years in the USA. Big smile here....I am so glad i stumbled on this...the fabric ranges are so so sweet...thank you for the chance at this giveaway x

    ReplyDelete
  103. I'm thinking baby shorts and bibs for my boy and a new tote for me - another fabulous design :-)

    ReplyDelete
  104. My little man is off to his first camp in June and I'd love to rustle him up a wash kit bag in your gorgeous fabric.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I love the fabric! We have five dogs: a mama and her babies. The mama dog was adopted from a shelter, and turned out to be pregant...eight years later, we couldn't be happier with our big family. :) Two of our dogs look like the pooch on your fabric, which would make winning an especial delight. Thanks for the chance.

  106. I would like to try and sew something for my best friend's new baby, perhaps some cute diaper covers or incorporate the fabric into a play mat.
I don't have a dog but have wanted one for ages and ages. I'm hoping to get one next year once I'm done with graduate school and live somewhere dog friendly. :)

    ReplyDelete

  111. ooo- I'm thinking a tiered twirl dress for my daughter- she loves her puppy and papa truck just about the same!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  113. Gorgeous prints again! I would love to make a new bed for my Irish Setter/Chihuahua mix Brodie with some of this!!

    ReplyDelete
  114. My pooches also ride in my car....I've got a Westie and a Scottie...black & white! We call them The Travelling Dogs, they both love to feel the wind in their faces out the windows, and when they are tired they both squeeze up in that area behind the rear seat headrests and lay in the sun.

  115. Wonderful fabric. I have a grown son who is restoring a 57 red Chevy truck, so I would have to make something for him and his son, Arlo (who loves to dwive the twuck!)

    ReplyDelete
  116. Just found you via Print ande Pattern... Love love LOVE this fabric - it's so cute! Well for designing something that really made me smile and brightened up my luchtime.

I have a greyhound called Millie who loves to curl up in the boot of our car (we have a hatchback, so she's not shut in!). She hates the backseat and always tries to hide under the front seats, which isn't easy for a big dog! You'd never catch her with her head out of the window because she's a scaredy mutt :)

    ReplyDelete
  117. Wow, I love this fabric!!! My 3 year old grandsons room will soon be transformed into a big boy room. I would love to make him a quilt for his bed and storage baskets for his books and yes, cars and trucks using this fabric. We have a chocolate lab (Lucy) that loves, loves, loves, to ride with me in the car. My grandson has a big black dog named Maggie that he loves dearly. Did I mention that I am in love with this fabric? Sure hope I win!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  118. This fabric is SO fun, I just love it! And in a heartbeat I would make a quilt for Hubble, our year-old Coton de Tulear. He loves our bed quilt and I've been promising him one of his own and this fabric would be perfect! He is always up for a ride in the car and we could take his new quilt along. Thanks for the chance to win.

  119. this is perfect fabric to make a little boy quilt. I love the prints so much!!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Thank you for making something masculine!

    ReplyDelete
  121. So cute! Thanks for the disclaimer- dogs in pick-up beds make me so nervous. I would certainly add this fabric to the quilt I am designing called "my favorite things" your Donkey in wellies is already going in there along with some other contemporary, more "adult" novelty fabrics (like Opal Owl by Tina Givens)
My Boston, Myles, and Frenchie Mix, Quinn, are my sewing room companions and love to "ride along!" They even know the sound of a deposit slip being torn out of the book means a ride to the bank and treats from the drive through! Thanks-

  139. Oh, so so cute!!!! I know my four year old grandson would love his grandma making him a pillowcase or some summer shorts! His little sister would say "me too, grandma!" And their soon to be three cousin would ooo and ah over the pooches as well, since she has a doggy. Grandma would be really busy sewing for the four grandkidlets! Over the years we had several dogs, Mercedes, Missy and Freckles who loved to take brief (safe) rides in the back of our pickups.

  140. Oh Wow! I cannot wait to get a hold of these fabrics! I also drive a station wagon (love it) but my pooch, Olive the standard poodle, HATES to ride in cars. She gets car sick, poor baby. But we go on plenty of walks to make up for it. :-)

  159. We sell organic produce at our local farmers' market where I also sell children's clothing and accessories. A big seller is my baby bibs and burpcloths. I would love to make little boy bibs and burpcloths and maybe even a car pillow to match from these terrific truck fabrics, since little boys seem to get the shaft when it comes to stylish duds. Thanks for a great giveaway.

  172. My dog was a stray that I adopted when he was about a year and a half old. He has some terrible ingrained habits - like chasing trucks on the highway - not all of them, just the ones he selects. He loves riding in the car with me or the truck with DH though. Your fabric is cute. Thanks for a chance to win.

  179. Darling fabric! I've only one old very sweet Golden Retriever, but my husband has loved his trucks since the day we got married (one was with us for almost 30 years before I got him to replace it). Your vintage truck reminds me of my grandpa's old truck that I used to play on. So yes, I love your fabric! (I feel bad for your station wagon though--it must be so jealous!) I'd probably use the fabric to make something for Father's Day for my dad who also has a truck and a huge black lab. Both dogs (gold & black) adore him, so your fabric is perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  180. What fabulous fabric! I would probably make something for one of my sons if I were to win. We have always been a dog oriented family and the breed we have owned the most of and the longest is Corgis. Love 'em!

  190. I don't have a pooch - the only pet we have is a Goliath Stick Insect! His cage might like a bit of the green pooch fabric around the base. His favourite colour is eucalyptus green. I think the rest of the fabric could be used for toys and building blocks. If you sew them around the big heavy wooden blocks, they won't be so noisy when they get knocked over.

    ReplyDelete
  191. I am thinking some pillow cases, or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  192. A cool boys jacket is what I would make.

    ReplyDelete
  198. Oh I love the dogs in the back of the truck (in theory, not practice). We have 2 goldens and look so cute in the back of our truck for pictures but they've never ridden there much to my husband's dismay. I would make shorts for my son who is obsessed with dogs and trucks--they would be patchwork with big pockets (because at 3, everything must have big pockets for those rocks that seem to be everywhere). Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.
