As long as they lay eggs, they could prove very useful, otherwise they might end up as dinner.

ReplyDeleteLike most people I think I'd use them for culinary purposes...
ReplyDeleteChickens are lovely but live ones would terrify the cat and get chased by the baby so I'm afraid they'd have to go in the oven!
ReplyDelete3 French Hens would have a lovely townhouse coop in my backyard and an opportunity to weed my garden of it's many Summer bugs. In exchange for this lovely life I'd hope for some eggs.

ReplyDeleteI'd hope my neighbors wouldn't notice and keep them in the backyard so we could enjoy fresh eggs!
ReplyDeleteI think 3 French Hens would be very posh, I think they would need their own castle..they would probably have little parasols..little pillbox hats...little bows around their necks and they would chatter all day.

3 french hens would definitely go in the back yard with one wing clipped so we'd get lots of eggs!
ReplyDeleteI'd take photos of them and use the photos to inspire a quilt to remember the hens. Then I'd take them to a farmer to raise, as I couldn't really keep them where I live.
ReplyDelete3 french hens..................determine how french hens are different than regular hens I guess. My answers to these Q's are stupid, I know.

they could help me brush up on my high school francais while we baked a strawberry schaum torte for family christmas dinner this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThree French Hens.....Yeah, I think I'd have them teach me French. Maybe then I'd finally be bilingual!
ReplyDeleteI would have to give them to my sister since our home isn't really set up for hens. My sister has an amazing chicken coop. Can't believe I just described a chicken coop as "amazing," but it is! Those hens would live a life of luxury there. LOL

ReplyDeleteYum! I would give them to friend who keeps chickens.
ReplyDeleteWith three French hens, I would photograph them and play with the images, print my own fabric and make some chicken quilts. I would try to paint them for note cards and I would knit them tiny sweaters. Really, I would. But I would have to give them to my brother so he can start his retirement hobby farm. We are deed restricted from chickens and roosters! I find that funny.
ReplyDeleteI would love to say something sweet but, I'm pretty sure I would eat them sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteMy cat does the same thing. I think an alarm goes off when I pick up my camera and he follows me so he can get in the photo!
