    ReplyDelete
  34. You know, I gave it a lot of thought and decided 12 days [well, 11 left] is a lot of time. And since english is not my first language and I don't really get the jokes :D, I thought I'd tell you a story. In 10 episodes :D

This one is supposed to be the pilot but, you see, it's my first story, so we'll consider I warned you today and will come back tomorrow with the actual story :D

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'd have them as permanent residents or at least have them come by every morning to wake up my 6 year old for school. Now I know what kind of pain I was to wake up every morning when I was a kid!

  58. As I'm in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the Princes Street pipers are best when they combine with another busker and do a kind of tartany "mash up", I'll get those drummers from yesterday to choose a more modern beat and have the pipers play some contemporary music!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Tufted Tweets is one of my favorite design schemes ever!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm with almost everybody else, I'm going to send those pipers to someone to annoy! Probably the guys who are working on laying pipes on the road behind my house. For the past umpteen million weeks all I hear all day long is the beeping of the equipment when it backs up, ugh! So, the pipers will either annoy them right back for me, or they'll help them lay those pipes faster and get them on their way!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I would have them play for my kids when they are bad, maybe they will be good more :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. I would have the pipers babysit. My boys would love it!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'd really hope that they are the type of pipers that make and sew custom piping... I've got some pillows I'd like to do, but I don't want to fool with the piping. I'd assign at least 4 of them to that task. The other 7 of them could get the icing bags and do the piping work on a fabulous gingerbread house. If even one of the 11 tries to pull out an actual pipe, I'd full-body-slam them.... my 3 year old is finally taking a nap and ain't NOBODY waking her up!

    ReplyDelete
  73. What a fun giveaway theme! The 11 pipers piping are welcome to come to my house and pipe away as long as they are willing to do housework so I can quilt! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  74. 11 Pipers Piping? Well, we have eleven neighbors near us here in the country so I would send one to each house and have them pipe their favorite Christmas Carol then all come back to my house for warm homemade cookies and milk, or coffee, or ?

  79. Ah, but they could be pipe smokers, couldn't they, in which case they'd be a health hazard and I'd send them on their way! And if they're pipers like plumbers, perhaps they could sort out my central heating.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Surely 11 pipers could entertain (read:drown out) 2 toddlers.

    ReplyDelete
  81. i certainly think 11 pipers could give my kids a music lesson!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. The drummers were much easier ;) Pipers? Maybe I'd invite people over for a Medieval dance party.

    ReplyDelete

  86. 11 pipers would be kept in storage over winter, and when sweet summer arrives, I'd put them on the balcony and let them pipe the neighbors asleep each night.

    ReplyDelete
  87. My 11 pipers would be in charge of taking my dogs for a run today. The weather has been rough so the dogs haven't been able to go run lately. They are bouncing off the walls. I figure between 11 pipers they might be able to make a dent in all the energy contained within these two dogs!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. That really depends on what they're piping. We had a wee plumbing problem here at the weekend but they'd have to bring their own nose pegs!

    ReplyDelete
  89. <3 Tufted Tweets. :)
I've already got one piper, so I'd pair up my 12 pipers with my 12 drummers and schedule them for the halftime show at a football game. :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  94. Love Tufted Tweets! Thank you so much for the fabric giveaway! I don't know what I would do with 11 pipers piping, ask them to leave? haha

    ReplyDelete
  95. These piping pips would have to learn to dance a little too. Then, would have them lead the grandnieces round-n-round the house (outside) until the grandnieces were tired and begging to take a nap! Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  96. 11 pipers piping would fit perfectly in our living room :)

    (Satisfying though.)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Oh I'd love this set of lovely fabric! I'd bring out my own flute and join them piping away! A dancing we will go!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Oh please no more noise! I think I would take away their pipes and give them brooms, dust rags, sponges, laundry soap, the vaccume, and any other cleaning supplies I could think of and have them clean the house for me while I went out and did something fun! ReplyDelete
  111. They could play while my son has his morning tantrum!!!

    ReplyDelete
  112. I'd put'em to work. There is so much I'd like to accomplish before Christmas arrives. I could definitely use some recruits and perhaps a clone or 2. : )

    ReplyDelete
  113. Pipers, hooray, I've been wanting to try some piped binding. Why those pipers would surely make quick work of that project! What do you mean, 'they're not that kind of piper?'

    ReplyDelete
  114. It all depends on what kind of Pipers they are :-) If they are any good with water pipes they can come and organise our rain water collection which needs re-doing after moving our house.

Musical pipers could come and serenade while DH and I work hard in the garden. It's better than listening to the kids arguing.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I think I'd put them up in kiddo's room! He'll have something to "listen" to for some time! He's the one who's always making the noise in the house - singing, playing his casio, talking!!! It'll be good to see him quiet for a change!
Thanks for the chance to win my favorite fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I think I could put up with the pipers a little longer than the drummers!! But 11 of them?? Maybe not!

    ReplyDelete
  117. Hummm... I don't know.. I have 11 brothers so I think i'll give one of each one :)

    ReplyDelete
  126. I'd send those pipers to my favorite local assisted-living facility to entertain the residents! Many thanks.

    ReplyDelete

You see, my husband's heritage is scottish so having 11 pipers would be loads of fun and they could pipe to me while I was sewing, though how I would fit them all in my room and not loose my hearing is beyond me this morning. LOL Though I don't think my cats would appreciate it! :)
