The stockings are definitely on my list! I would love to make them up using my new Holiday Sweet Tweets. I'm especially fond of the 1st two stockings and see loads of fun possibilities fussy cutting some chairs and tweets. :)

To prep for the holidays around here, I'm getting ready to start on some new pillow panels for my Etsy store. Remember these guys? I was thinking of bring them back and I'm hoping for a few fun new designs as well...I'll just have to see how well the creative juices flow! Any requests?!

ReplyDeleteI love to make origami ornaments - it's all hand sewing and a nice portable project. They come in handy as a small gift or decoration on a package.

I love ot make fancy tea towels and hanging towels for the kitchen - a nice hostess gift for the hard-to-but-for person in your life!!!
ReplyDeleteEvery year I make a lap quilt and use them as the main decorations. Less lugging out of boxes and I love the look of them.

My favorite holiday sewing project is a new grandbaby Christmas stocking. I'm finishing up two more - that will be a total of 9 grandkids' stockings. I do love to make gifts for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to sew for the holidays is gifts. I try make (aka sew) most of the Christmas gifts I give each year. Sometimes that could be a quilt or runner, or even bag or doll.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas sewing project is making Christmas tree skirts. I've made patchwork, log cabin diamonds, and more. Very enjoyable to make, and very well received by the person I gifted them to. Right now, I'm working on some simple Christmas lap-sized quilts.
