It's giveaway time!!!

I'm really excited about my new DIY Craft Kits and I would love to get your help with getting wider distribution and sales! I need your thoughts and suggestions on which stores in your area might be a good fit for me to contact about carrying my kits.

As a thank you for your ideas, I'll draw the names of 2 lucky winners and each winner will receive:
1) Couch Potato Lavender DIY Eye Pillow Kit - These feature exclusive Scarlet Fig designed fabric
1) Wing Through Customs Passport Cover DIY Kit - These feature Anna Maria Horner designed fabric and a hand stamped passport label with my design

Here's what I think in terms of what kinds of stores I should target, but I'm anxious to hear what you think...
-Independent home goods / home accessories boutiques. They probably carry indie designers.
-Small fabric or crafting stores.
-Online fabric/supplies stores might also be a good fit.

  8. There's a lavender field here that has a gift shop. It might be cool to hook up with them. You'd need to use their lavender though http://www.thelavenderfields.com/
also, upscale gardening shops might like this, or even gardening websites, since you're featuring use of something that comes out of the garden. Try contacting Annies Annuals http://anniesannuals.com/
    and Summers Past Farms http://www.summerspastfarms.com/

  18. My girlfriends and I go to a little place called The Tea Room for lunch as often as we can! The front half of the restaurant is a little shop area with handmade gifts. It's a somewhat random assortment, think: stuffed animals, pincushions, salt & pepper shakers, tea sets, handmade candles etc. They do a TON of takeout (a lot of elementary schools are nearby, and us teachers love to order out whe we can =) So when people come to pick up their orders, there's a little time to browse and shop. Anyway, here is the link:

  24. Your items would fit in really well with the group of artists at Funky Finds, it's a Ft. Worth (TX, obviously lol) based website (sort of Etsy-esque) but they support a more local scene. I stumbled across their Spring Fling a couple of weekends ago, and it was FANTASTIC, I could see your DIY Craft Kits making a big splash there. www.funkyfinds.us
