Tufted Tweets - Sneak Peek!

I think I might have freaked out the Fedex guy a bit yesterday. I knew the package with my sample cuts of Tufted Tweets were coming. So when I saw the Fedex truck pull up I raced outside. And while he was digging around in the back of the truck I stood patiently (not) by the entrance to the truck. So when he popped out of the back, guess who was standing there waiting for her package? Tee hee.

After I pried the package from his hands, I trotted inside. I was so ridiculously nervous to open the package. But I am so thrilled with how everything turned out! I think the colors look so vibrant and cheery. And the fabric is so soft. So... without further ado, please meet the Tufted Tweets collection by Laurie Wisbrun for Robert Kaufman Fabrics! The fabric will be headed out to the RK sales force in early April which means it could start to be in your local fabric stores as early as May. So start asking for it :) Can't wait for ya'll to see the fabric in person and see what you make with it!

Sorbet - I am so thrilled with how saturated and bright the reds are.


Orchid - I am totally in love with this color story. I see pajama pants from these in my future.


Grass (I haven't yet received the Birdies and Chairs for this color story - blue with green birdies)

    Laurie: These are truly beautiful! I intend to get back into a little sewing in my retirement years and can't wait to walk into the fabric store and see these!! You must just be so incredibly proud. What an accomplishment!!

    I literally GASPED when I saw the violet....

    I am so so happy for you Laurie :) I remember way back when, when you made your first fabrics with Spoonflower (oh so long ago...lol) and how much I was in love with your designs then and HOPING someone would recognize your talent....

    stunning...and I would have been stalking that FEDEX truck driver too....hehehe

    Hi, These are a group of very fun fabrics. Love the colors and design. Am personally very partial to furniture prints, having been in the furniture industry most of my life. Good luck with them!
