Giveaway - Urban Circus FQ set

One of my favorite parts of the day is checking my blog and my Flickr account for new comments and pictures. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to see what you guys are making with my fabric. The quilts, the bags, the clothes... SOOO cute! Lately I've noticed there haven't been as many pictures of creations made with Urban Circus though.

So I'm hoping that perhaps if I entice you with a giveaway, you'll post some more pictures!! Here's how the giveaway will work.

--Only one entry per person regardless of how many pics you post or comments you leave please. I want everyone to have a chance to win!

--The winner will receive a full FQ set of both color stories of Urban Circus. That's 8 FQS!!

--TO ENTER: Leave me a comment here (this will be your entry to win). Tell me either what you have made with Urban Circus (or any of my fabrics!) OR if you haven't made anything yet, tell me what you'd like to make! I will draw a winner after 9am CT on Saturday 10/16/10.

--Then if you have pictures to share, just head over to my Flick group and post your pics! I would really love to see what you've made!!

To get you in the mood, here are a few pictures of some recent creations from some very, very talented folks! (Thanks for sharing these!!)

I would make my niece doll cradle bedding for Christmas. My father made her the cradle and I'm in charge of the bedding. I have never owned your fabric, but they look so yummy I think I'll have to get some...if I don't win!

I would make an adorable quilt or hot pads for my sister!

Oh, I LOVE those elephants - and orange is one of my favorite colors right now. I am thinking either tea towels or cafe curtains - but with a twist. I think it would be awesome to add embroidered mirrors and small sequins, a la a traditional saree.

Thanks for offering the giveaway!

I haven't used your fabrics before but I love them! I used one as inspiration for my daughter's nursery. So if I won, I'd love to make something for her. Probably a softie or an outfit. Or probably both if I had 8 FQ's!

My friend just found out she's expecting a baby boy... this fabric would make the perfect baby quilt!!

ellesquare said...

Easy Peasy - I know exactly what I would make! I would cut out some of the big animal shapes and applique them onto the boatload of baby & kid gifts I'm behind on. I swear, everyone I know is either pregnant or has had a baby in the last 3 months. And I LOVE to make handmade for kids. it's the best. The UC fabrics are _perfect_ for this sort of thing.

My granddaughter is about to turn a year old, and now that she's walking, my daughter has discovered the joys of capri pants, and simple blouses such as peasant and pillow case styles... and your circus fabrics would delight both the girls with their colors and designs!!!

SewLindaAnn said...

If I won a FQ set, I would use some to applique onto baby gifts like burp cloths, and I've been in the mood to make a Spring (I know Fall just got here) tote bag with a cute motif edging and lining. If any was leftover I would make a couple of child's toys.

I ordered soe gorgeous circus fabrics a month ago. After a lot of trouble with the order I a finally looking at my UC half yards. And I'm looking at them for more than a week. I cannot immagine how stupid I've been not buying all the prints *and* in both colours. I am in the phase where I cannot cut them because they're too beatifull and I can't put anything else next to them. So I *need* the others as well or I will not dare to cut mine :)
