First, yesterday's winner via random number generator. Congrats to Tammy who left comment #25:
Geese and their eggs would be wonderful. So many things to make. Hallowed out egg ornaments for the tree. Lots of deviled eggs to eat! Can use the goose's down feathers for a comforter and it's meat for pate! Hope that end part isn't too gross to folks, but I love pate!
And now onto today's giveaway!
-A pair of Olive the Ostrich Pillow Panels
-Two half yard cuts of ANY of my Robert Kaufman fabric (winner's choice!)
Store note: All of the holiday pillow panels (in all 4 panels) have sold out. I did really love doing them so I'll create some new ones next year! :)
Here's one of the Olive panels that I stitched up with black piping.

Good luck! And see you tomorrow for the announcement of the Day 8 winner and for the start of the Day 9 giveaway!!
Five golden rings... that's easy. I would have them engraved with my kid's birthdays and give them to each on their 18th birthdays. Five kids... five rings. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings would be a lot of fun. I think I'd get them sized for each member of my family. Maybe have something cute written on them.
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings of my phone: one from my boytoy, one from the jeweler (ring is ready), one from the bank (they made a thousand dollar mistake in my favor), one from the car dealer (my Beemer is ready) and one from POTUS! I won the dinner with him and Michelle. YIPEE!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like we're all thinking alike! I would give the five golden rings to the ladies in my family - two nieces, my sister, mom, and grandmother!
ReplyDelete5 golden rings! perfect! one for my man and our four kids! i'd inscribe each with the date they came into my lives(ex. oct.23,2004) and beside it, - forever.
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings ... first I think I would pass out from the shock of it. Then I would engrave one with a cute saying ... don't have any clue what ... and then squirrel the others away for a really rainy day.
ReplyDeleteI would share them with my three sisters and my one sister in law!
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm one of five sisters! One each!
I would love to be entered! I think if I had five golden rings, I would probably sell them to some gold people, then I would have more Christmas money.
ReplyDeleteaimeespcr at live dot com
Well, I'm not really a jewelry person, so I'd probably sell the rings and buy fabric! I really, really want to win this round by the way. I'm still kicking myself that I waited to long to buy your pillow panels. I was thinking one of these and one donkey, but debated and then they were all gone in just a day or so. Next year I won't wait as long!
ReplyDeleteI would sell them and give the money to five struggling families to help them pay bills and buy Christmas for their family.
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings? I think I'd have to sell them to help my daughters buy their college textbooks in January!
ReplyDeleteSadly I think I would sell four of them to pay down my student loans. I would keep the fifth in reserve though for wearing... and in case I needed extra money in a pinch. Oh how grad school as gotten to me.
ReplyDeleteSo for whatever reason, I can't think of the 5 golden rings line without translating it into the Mickey Mouse version of the song, wherein Goofy declares "5 onion rings" each time, lol! Can't remember any of the other items in the Mickey version except for #5 :)
ReplyDeleteSend them off to a 'Cash for Gold' site and spend the money on fabric!!
ReplyDeleteOne for each ear and between the nostrils and over each eyebrow, if I was a pig and could fly!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd take them to Pawn Stars and trade them for some cashola.
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings....one for each daughter in law (2) and one for each of my three granddaughters. Lovely gifts!
ReplyDeleteThis one is easy. I would give three of the golden rings to my daughters and the other two would be somehow melted together and turned into a much more manly ring for my youngest, my boy.
ReplyDeleteA ring for me, one for each of my 2 sisters and one for each of my 2 sisters-in-law.
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings? Wow! That's a lot of rings! I'd definitely keep one for myself, then probably give the rest to family! :)
ReplyDeleteBeing practical here, with the price of gold these days, I'd probably sell them for money to buy more fabric! I'm not much a romantist this morning, I guess!
ReplyDelete5 golden rings would probably fetch a nice penny considering there are all those places saying they'll buy my gold jewelry. So I would probably sell them. Use some money for quilt/craft things and donate some. I know many nonprofits that would love a donation this time of year!
ReplyDeleteFive Golden Rings? Why, decorate Olive of course! Imagine opening a gift of Olive's pillow with golden rings decorating her tree!

Five Golden Rings I'd give away to 5 friends...
ReplyDeleteoooh! I want this one! I didn't buy this panel! Want! Want! Want! I string all 5 golden rings on a chain and wear them as a necklace--who doesn't love jewelry?!?!?
ReplyDeleteHard decision but I'd sell them to help us out with plans for my sewing room!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love these pillow panels!!!! "Five Gooooooolden Riiiiiings" is my favorite part of the song. Five would be just enough for all of the girls in my family to have one!
ReplyDeletei'm with all the other ladies who's sell them for money to buy more fabric!
ReplyDeletemimsical13atgmaildotcom
Looks like a lot of people are more generous with the gifts their true loves gave them than I'd be! I wouldn't be giving away my five golden rings! I don't wear rings, though, so probably I'd have them melted down and recast into something I could hang off a necklace, though what exactly I don't know.
ReplyDelete(clumsy.chord(at)gmail.com)
Five Golden rings...one for each granddaughter and one for me, all matching, so everyone knows we are of one family and that we all love each other very much!
ReplyDeleteI'd put them on a chain and wear them as a necklace. Thanks for a chance. Love the ostrich!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, five golden rings - - - one for my dear husband of 47 years, one for me for staying married for 47 years and one each to my three grown children!
ReplyDeleteOne for each of my little ones. Or I might melt them down and get some cash for more fabric. I only have a small addiction though.
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings? I would sell them and buy more fabric!
ReplyDeleteWhat would I do with 5 Golden Rings..............I would wear 1 and give the other 4 as gifts.
ReplyDeleteThey would make perfekt gifts because I am late with some gifts for my family :)
ReplyDeleteSusanne
Five golden rings.....Well, I think that I would sell the rings, gold is worth a lot lately, and buy gifts for my family, then invest the rest. Thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeletei would beautiful ribbon on them and put them on the christmas tree
ReplyDeleteI think I'm with the ladies that would sell them and buy more fabric. With the price of gold as it is, that would be a hefty pile to add to the stash!
ReplyDeleteAs wonderful of a gift that would be, with the price of gold right now, I would sell them all and either fix the leaky roof on our house or take my amazing husband on the honeymoon we were never able to afford.
ReplyDeleteFive people in our family so five rings is perfect - one each (at least once my kids are old enough not to lose or eat them...) Love the cushion panel!
ReplyDeleteI would keep one to wear and the sell the rest and put the money toward a long arm quilting machine. :)
ReplyDeleteI would sell them for sure! So many things to buy...after I pay off bills of course. Have to be responsible first.
ReplyDeleteSell 'em and buy more fabric. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteFive Gold Rings...I have five little grandnieces so this would be a lovely gift for each when they are old enough. Thanks for the eighth opportunity to win some of your wonderful fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love those pillow panels! If I had five golden rings, I'd sell them and put the money in our someday house account. I'll take a cozy home over pretty jewelry any day.
ReplyDeleteI would sell them too as I am not much of a ring person. Now if it was 5 golden bangles, that's a different story!
ReplyDeleteI would wear one, one for each of my 2 neices and one for each of my 2 sil's. We'd all be pretty wearing our golden rings. Thanks for a chance to win your lovely giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I have plenty of nieces and SILs and my daughter who could all have one. The tough time would be deciding who actually gets one. I think I need 25 golden rings! If you're going to dream, dream big!
ReplyDeleteAdorable panel! I would most definitely pawn those suckers to buy a fancy sewing machine and lots and lots of Kona solids. :)
ReplyDeleteI would give one each to my five best friends! thanks!
ReplyDeleteCash 4 Gold, yo.
ReplyDeleteFive gold rings would be excellent right now. I'd swap them for cash as I have to pay the big boy's rent while he's away on his first OE.
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings - think I would have to sell them and use the money to buy lots of fabric and yarn! How selfish can one be???
ReplyDeleteI would share the 5 golden rings with my friends! :)
ReplyDeleteI second the Cash 4 Gold route. I look so much better in silver, white gold, or platinum. I love the panel.
ReplyDeleteI'd wear em! Who doesn't love some bling?!
ReplyDeleteOh tough choice - the money or the bag? (Did you ever have that game show over there?)
ReplyDeleteI guess it would depend how much glitz the gold rings had as to how hard a time I'd have of letting them be sold for much needed cash LOL
I already have one golden ring - my wedding band - so I'd probably sell them for the gold and donate to a worthy charity. Kathie L in Allentown
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely giveaway
ReplyDeleteMy favorite line in the song! I always thought the geese where laying them! Pity I don't wear gold - I like the idea of selling them and giving the proceeds to charity.
ReplyDeleteThey would make great presents! I have a few family members who would be SO happy with a new gold ring!

Wow, now that the price of gold is rising I would sell them and buy some more fabrics with the money :-)
ReplyDeletePut one on each finger and pretend to be a princess.
ReplyDeleteI would give one to each sister and sister-in-law as a reminder of how precious they are :)
ReplyDeleteSince I don't need anymore rings, I also would turn them into a jewelry store for cash and then buy things for my daughter and her family as they live on a very tight budget.
ReplyDeleteWow!! 5 golden rings, well since I only 2 fingers that don't have rings on them, I'd keep two and give one to my daughter, one to my Mom and one to my sister.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win.
usairdoll(at)gmail(dot)com
I would save 4 of them for when my kids are older and either need more money for school or a wedding ring. The last I would keep just for me.
ReplyDeleteI'd keep one and sell the other four to fund my fabric/fibre/yarn/knitting accessories addictions

Five golden rings? Well, I have five fingers on each hand, don't I??? LOL, I love jewelry for myself! Thanks for the chance to win, looks like a fabulous prize!
ReplyDeleteI would keep one and give one to both of my grandmas, my mom and my sister. Love the Ostrich!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win. I think I'd sell 3 and put the money in my kids education saving account and give the other 2 to our local foodbank. Sorry, sometimes I can't help but be practical.
ReplyDelete5 Golden Rings? I would hope they were large ones so I could sell them and pay off debt. Boring, I know, but that debt is stopping me from buying much fabric. That Ostrich is beyond adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'd give them to my mom, my sister, my two grandmothers and myself as a symbol of our connectedness.
ReplyDeleteI would keep one of the rings each for my daughter and myself, and sell the others to buy a lovely new sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't comment since I already have so many of your lovelies, but I just had to because those pillow panels are too cute!! How did I miss those? Anyway, I might be with those selling the rings to buy more fabric! One can never have too much fabric (or cute pillows, for that matter!)
ReplyDeleteIt would be so fun to give one each of the the gold rings to my FIVE sisters!
ReplyDeleteLet's see, 1 for each of my 4 BFF's and 1 for me.
ReplyDeleteI just love the pillow! If I had five golden rings, I think I would see what all of the fuss is about with companies looking to buy your gold (like all of those commercials on TV). I wonder how much they would be worth? :)
ReplyDeleteelise {dot} holstein {at} gmail {dot} com
Wait. Are any of these rings "the one ring" to rule them all. I think I'd keep them all.
ReplyDeleteI would get them appraised!
ReplyDeletesazzyfrazz at gmail dot com
I could use 5 golden rings. Even 2, as my son is getting married! :)
ReplyDeleteYea for love!
With the current price of gold, I'd sell them for the money to buy something that I need.
ReplyDeleteI can be reached by FlickrMail.
I'd trade them in for as much pasta, cereal, and peanut butter I could muster for the food bank!
ReplyDeleteI'd give one to each of my daughters, one to my daughter-in-law and keep one for myself. Thanks for sharing - the pillow is cute!
ReplyDeleteI would wear one, stash away one, gift one, sell one (to support my fabric habit, of course), and offer one to my one true love. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI hear gold is a good investment at the moment...
ReplyDeleteLove to use the gold rings as decorations for Christmas
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love, love, love to win some Olive pillow panels! Hers is my fave by far. As for those 5 gollllden rings, I would have them resized to fit my chubby fingers and wear them. I have started wearing rings on multiple fingers in my old age, er, golden years! That's why I need those 5 golden rings...8-)

ReplyDeleteFive gold rings. I'd be sharing them with my four dearest friends, and then feeling warm and connected knowing we were all wearing matching jewelry. Sounds rather 4th-grade-ish, doesn't it? Well, life with girlfriends is sometimes like that.
ReplyDeleteOh those five gold rings would have to go to me and my mum and my three sisters! But would be more excited to see the postman bring some fabric.
ReplyDeleteP xx
I would give one to my niece's boyfriend who is saving to buy her an engagement ring. And sell the others so I can get this tooth fixed that is so expensive!! Thanks for the giveaway fun!
ReplyDeleteI'd thread them with lovely red silk ribbon and hang them on the tree. Each would have a name engraved on it. It will be so fun on Christmas morning watching my loved ones as they look for their names.
ReplyDeleteOne for my son, one for my dayghter, one for my granddaughter and one each for my husband and myself when we renew our wedding vows.

One for each week day! I'd wear them all on the weekends!
ReplyDeleteFive golden rings for five fantastic gifts to my loved ones! Happy designing day to you.
ReplyDeleteI have long fingers...maybe they would all fit.
ReplyDelete5 golden rings would be a great. I would give one to my husband who lost his wedding band last week (slipped off when his hand got cold). I would give one to each of my 3 grandchildren and keep one for me. jmichaelpike@aol.com
ReplyDelete5 Golden Rings! Lovely, I would give one to each of my granddaughters to wear on their right hand to always remember their Grammy. It would be a change from the quilts and handmade items they usually get, lol..which I am sure they treasure!
ReplyDeleteFive gold ring? I think I would give them away b/c I am really not a jewelry person. I am a fabric person, however, and those panels are just too fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI would WEAR them!
ReplyDeleteGosh, late to the party again! Gold's not really my thing darling but I do so love fabric, he he!!
ReplyDeleteI suppose the rings would make nice gifts though :)
5 gold rings. Hmmm. I'm not a big fan of jewelry, so I probably wouldn't wear them. If I wore them, I'd put them on a gold strand and wear it as a necklace.
ReplyDeleteFIVE GOLDEN RINGS - are some of my favorite things. I have always loved jewelry and especially rings. You can never have too many. Thanks for the opportunity to win these absolutely gorgeous and adorable panels. I would love to make them for my grandchildren. Enjoy your holidays.
