I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I've had a great several weeks here with loads of new stuff happening and excitement on the horizon. Lots of big smiles and laughter around here these days.

So I'd love to bring smiles to a few faces out there too. :) Let's get some of those Jack and Jenny donkeys out onto your sewing tables, shall we? There are 3 lovely color stories in each pack. I'll draw 2 winners this coming Thursday morning, 2/16.

Just leave a comment here and tell me what's making you happy these days! xo

Here's a peek at those baby blocks again.  :)

  14. Oh my this is my first time seeing Jack and Jenny (I'm new here!) and I LOVE IT!!!!

What makes me happy these days? Would you believe the sun? I like in the Yukon, our winters are long and dark and cold...I go to work in the dark, come home in the dark, and hope that at lunchtime when we venture out for a walk that there isn't cloudcover (there usually is). This weekend we've had SUN!!! Its beautiful and makes things clean and sparkling.

And the little dose of seratonin doesn't hurt LOL.

    Thanks for the chance.

there is a teeny weeny bad word in there, so not enirely safe for wee ones, but very mild compared to my compatriot's usual tone! Big yin is from same city as me.

or do I prefer the blue and orange....

    Cheers,

  97. Right this minute, it's definitely my husband making me happy. Through thick and thin (there's been a lot of thick lately), he does little and big things to care for, please and delight me: making jello and buying ice cream (anything better than this after surgery?), bringing flowers, books and magazines, playing with the dog to amuse me (she's hilarious) and just letting me be so I can recover in my own time. Yep, in spite of all the stuff going on, I'm deeply happy because of him.

It is sweet to see that he understands he can't do what his brother and sisters are doing; he stands at the window and wags his tail while he watches them romp. He is patient while we do his physical therapy, although I know he doesn't love it. What a good guy he is.

  179. I'm a teacher and we've had some rough times this year (a sudden death, serious injury, beyond normal bureaucratic nonsense) and every day my students, who are 12-14 years old, come in eager and ready to learn. They support each other and the faculty. They make me laugh and I am lucky to get to work with them (even when their needs keep me from my sewing machine). Your whimsical fabrics make me smile, too! Thanks for the chance.
