Over the weekend I finished off my tree skirt! Am really happy with the way it turned out and its going to be so much better than the usual wadded up sheet that usually doubles as a skirt each year.
The only challenge is that every time I put it down on the ground to photograph it, the cats come over to 'help'. So just pretend there aren't kitties lying on it/under it and you'll get the idea. I'm beginning to wonder how these curious little creatures are going to do when the tree actually arrives. I'm beginning to fear for the safety of my ornaments...
In other holiday crafting news, I'm working on some fun holiday garland from Tufted Tweets and I'll post pics of that as soon as I get them done. Hoping to possibly get them finished this week. Maybe I'll even make 2 and do a giveaway!!

What is it with cats and Christmas tree skirts? My cats are always ecstatic when I pull out the tree skirt! Maybe I should make them their own little quilts this year for Christmas!

Your tree skirt is adorable, as are the kitties. Hang bells in the bottom branches of your tree, and then you'll know when the cats are attacking!

No no no no! You just can't put two increddibly cute things in one picture :)). It's like one of those optical illusions that makes you dizzy. I am looking at the cute kitty, then the lovely quilt, then the kitty again, then the quilt..I'm getting really dizzy in here and I just can't stop looking at so much cuteness :))) And I'm not even sure this is a word :))) Ah, and then look at the cutest sofas ever on the side bar! So not fair :D

I love the skirt and the kitty peeking out! Every year at Christmas, as soon as my quilted skirt comes out, my cat parks himself for 3 weeks under the tree.
Your tree skirt turned out great! I'll have to put something like this on my agenda for next year since I have too many other things to get done prior to Christmas this year. The kitties make the photos more sweet. My cats are always trying to horn in on my photo shoots :-)

I'm working on a large scale advent calendar for my niece. It will hang on the back of a door and feature some of your great christmas fabrics.
