Jack and Jenny Giveaway!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I've had a great several weeks here with loads of new stuff happening and excitement on the horizon. Lots of big smiles and laughter around here these days.

So I'd love to bring smiles to a few faces out there too. :) Let's get some of those Jack and Jenny donkeys out onto your sewing tables, shall we? There are 3 lovely color stories in each pack. I'll draw 2 winners this coming Thursday morning, 2/16.

Just leave a comment here and tell me what's making you happy these days! xo

Here's a peek at those baby blocks again.  :)

Yikes, I'm the first comment! I adore Jack and Jenny and their fun style. Making me happy right now is a new pattern finish using rick rack and polka dots! Also making me happy are donkeys in rain boots. Thank you for the generous giveaway.

I went a little crazy with the original donkeys and wellies, and these new designs definitely make me smile. I keep thinking of projects to show off the adorable new colors.

Happy weekend!

The rain has been making me happy! We haven't got much of it this year, but a few days ago we had a nice big storm. Loved the sound of the big, angry drops and knowing we were getting some much needed water.

Oh my this is my first time seeing Jack and Jenny (I'm new here!) and I LOVE IT!!!!

What makes me happy these days? Would you believe the sun? I like in the Yukon, our winters are long and dark and cold...I go to work in the dark, come home in the dark, and hope that at lunchtime when we venture out for a walk that there isn't cloudcover (there usually is). This weekend we've had SUN!!! Its beautiful and makes things clean and sparkling.

And the little dose of seratonin doesn't hurt LOL.

Thanks for the chance.

Wishin' they lived here with me....." Well, you get the idea. I really love these guys! I just finished up my Modern Whimsy quilt so I need some more of your cutie pootie fabrics to pet, uh, I mean sew with! :)

Hello!

I've read your whole blog just lately. I love your designs, so whimsical and colourful.

Seeing your donkeys always make me think of this song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qfBnSqi8eo

there is a teeny weeny bad word in there, so not enirely safe for wee ones, but very mild compared to my compatriot's usual tone! Big yin is from same city as me.

Love the green and yellow.

No the blue and orange.

No, no the green and yellow

or do I prefer the blue and orange....

Cheers,
AJ

Brittany said...

oh, those donkeys are too cute ... I am LOVING the blue and orange colorway. But that has always been a favorite color combo of mine. I am so in trouble. Lets see ... what has been making me smile lately ... oh! My cat has learned a new trick / needs to get her way. Instead of waiting for you to pet her she stands up on her hind legs and puts her head in your hand.

Thanks for the great giveaway and congrats on your new line. I am super excited!

Right this minute, it's definitely my husband making me happy. Through thick and thin (there's been a lot of thick lately), he does little and big things to care for, please and delight me: making jello and buying ice cream (anything better than this after surgery?), bringing flowers, books and magazines, playing with the dog to amuse me (she's hilarious) and just letting me be so I can recover in my own time. Yep, in spite of all the stuff going on, I'm deeply happy because of him.

Love the Jack and Jenny line. I still have some of the original donkeys & wellies left over. Great for another child's quilt. Fingers crossed!

Zuzan said...

Love color, love play especially with fabric to find what it will make or look for patterns - planning is fun too.

Beth said...

Our dog had knee surgery, and his recovery is what is making me happy. Not only is he doing beautifully, he has been such a good sport about the whole thing. It is sweet to see that he understands he can't do what his brother and sisters are doing; he stands at the window and wags his tail while he watches them romp. He is patient while we do his physical therapy, although I know he doesn't love it. What a good guy he is.

Gosh, this is terrible but what is making me happy today is the fact that I'm going to resign from my job tomorrow! LOL

The other thing that is making me happy is looking to the future and spending more time in the sewing room!!

I'm happy to be working, and for the temperature to be like real winter, and for constant inspiration from my favorite artists! Keep up the good work!

I love the colors in this fabric. My grandson would love some pillow cases and jammies made from this.

I'm a teacher and we've had some rough times this year (a sudden death, serious injury, beyond normal bureaucratic nonsense) and every day my students, who are 12-14 years old, come in eager and ready to learn. They support each other and the faculty. They make me laugh and I am lucky to get to work with them (even when their needs keep me from my sewing machine). Your whimsical fabrics make me smile, too! Thanks for the chance.

I'm just happy to see the sun shining today after a snowy and icy
Monday. I spent 3 hours in the ER yesterday, had to drive in the snow. Snow is all gone now and today is a better day. Nothing serious other than a very, very painful UTI.

today I'm happy the sun is out, finally and that I didn't burn the pancakes!!!

What's making me happy these days is playing with my three grandnieces that are 1 and under. I owe one of them a baby quilt and these fabrics would be wonderful to use! Thanks for the chance.

Finding time to sew, read, and bake all while keeping the house clean is one of the things that makes me happy. But my family is the best and happiest part of my life.

What's making me happy these days? It makes me happy that yesterday I succesfully hosted a meeting of my book club, twenty ladies, my sister-in-law came and cooked all the food, my house is so clean I won't have to clean again for weeks and weeks and the fact that it's all over with. Whew!
