Giveaway day - Tufted Tweets

Tweet, tweet!!! Giveaway day is finally here!! I have several FQ packs of Tufted Tweets and one of them might have your name on it!

Comments are closed.

GIANT update 4/30: Robert Kaufman is giving away
a 1 yard SET of Tufted Tweets. After you leave a comment here for my giveaway,
FLY over to their blog before 5/3 and leave a comment to register to win a full yard set!!!

UPDATE 4/28: Hello my tweets (sorry... I really can't control it). I am reading every single comment as they come in. I love your sense of humor and that some of you also have design crushes on chairs in your life too. Thanks for being a part of this release with me!

UPDATE 4/26: You guys are incredibly wonderful. I truly cannot believe how many entries there are! Thank you a million times over for all your kind words, your love of birds and chairs and for all of your support. Keep those entries coming and I'll draw the winner on Monday 5/3!

Robert Kaufman is going to start shipping Tufted Tweets in the next few weeks. So very, very soon you'll be able to go visit your favorite fabric store and get some Tweets for your stash. I personally can't wait to go visit a store a see the bolts on the shelf. It's still a pretty strong possibility that I will dork out and shed a few tears when that day finally arrives. It's been an amazing journey to get here and I am so happy to have been able to share it with you! :)

So... the FQs I'm giving away are some of the very first ones to make it out into the world. Fly and be free little tweets!!

For your chance to win, just leave me a comment and tell me:
- What you'd make using the fabric
- Or, tell me all about your favorite chair/couch/seating apparatus
- Or just say hello!
Just make sure that there's a way for me to contact you when you leave your comment.

Next Monday 5/3, I'll select 2 lucky winners at random and the fabric will soon be winging it's way to you (sorry...couldn't resist). Thanks to everyone for all of your words of encouragement and support. You have no idea how much all of your posts and notes mean to me. :)

After you leave your comment, you MUST go visit Ashley over at Film in the Fridge. She is unveiling the gorgeous quilt she made using Tufted Tweets. I think it is truly, truly gorgeous. I think all of Ashley's quilts are pretty amazing but this one is obviously pretty close to my heart.

AND how fabulous is this? Ashley's pattern for the Unfurnished quilt will be available as a free download from Robert Kaufman's site (and from mine and from Ashley's) in the next few weeks!

AND... a little birdie told me that Ashley has a few FQs of Tufted Tweets to giveaway in the next few weeks. So if you don't win my giveaway, stay tuned to find out when Ashley's giveaway will happen.

Good luck peeps (sorry... sometimes I just can't contain myself...)!

Eeeek! Love this! I saw Ashley's quilt last week on Kaufman's site.....and was so disappointed to be told I would have to wait until Market for the pattern. *grin* I can't decide which colorway I like better --- the orange/red is so bold, but the purple is equally as striking. Beautiful fabric, for sure!

I've just come over from Ashley's site - the quilts are amazing. You and Ashley are quite the team.

Joanna said...

I'll go with my favorite chair apparatus...it was a leather la-z-boy that my MIL bought us so when she came to stay she had something good to sleep on, and boy was it good - it had a massage and heat built into it. Heaven! Unfortunately we moved cross country and couldn't take it with us, but it lives at my MIL's house where it is used daily:)

Amanda said...

Congratulations! The fabric is adorable and it was made into a beautiful quilt! :)

Anonymous said...

Oh dear, I've always loved your fabrics, and this new line is fabulous!! I would definately feature it in a quilt which would most likely be the upcoming "unfurnished" pattern because it does the job of showing it off. My favourite couch is our brand new Ikea couch. We bought it to replace the furniture our roommate took with him when he left, and it's one of the first pieces we've purchased that truly reflects our style and not just our budget.
Thanks for the great giveaway!

I think you'd have every reason to dork out when you see your fabrics in a shop! What great quilts Ashley made-they kind of look like ladder-back chairs themseves! Very clever use of your cute fabric!

Hey Laurie! I love these fabrics! I would make a baby quilt for my friend who is having her first baby today or maybe a stuffed animal. Hmmmm. Something fun for a new little one.

Beautiful! I love my couch, it is the first piece of furniture that my parents bought as a married couple and they handed it down to me!

I love these fabrics! My favorite chair is the Hitchcock rocker that my mother received as a wedding gift - she rocked all of her children and grandchildren in it. The black paint has worn off where she always rested her arms to reveal a beautiful rich wood grain.

Thank you for the chance to win this wonderful fabric! I would admire it for awhile and then I think I would make it into a snuggly throw.

How fabulous! I've admired your fabrics in your Etsy shop and especially love when someone like Ashley has made them into something beautiful. I'm a fool for little birds-- I'd love to make them into a quilt...or pillows...and wouldn't they make an adorable dress for my daughter!!!

Gorgeous! Love those fabrics! I'd use them in a quilt for sure -- one that I'd keep all for myself! :)

I came over at Ashley's suggestion and I would love to win some of your beautiful fabrics. I think if I were to win the green or purple set I'd use them to make new pillows and accessories for my little girl's bedroom. She's turning six in June and is growing out of her little girl's obsession with all things pink. Her new favorite is purple! But if I were to win the reds/oranges/browns I'd definitely make something for my living room. I might even copy Ashley and make a throw like hers to drape over my reddish couch. It was my first piece of new furniture ever in my life and although my kiddos are bent on destroying it, I still love it!!!
ThHanks again,

Came to you from Film in the Fridge, Thanks for the giveaway. I love the primary colors. I'm wanting more of that in my house. I am currently collecting the rainbow spectrum for a circle quilt from Last minute patchwork gifts. Beautiful.

love the fabrics, ashley did such an amazing job putting them together!! my favorite chair had to be my nursing rocker. it was ugly as all get out, but comfortable and truly my favorite place to nurse my baby girl!! I have since passed it on (for another mother to fall in love with) but I do miss it!!
